Support Group for Parents of Children and Adolescents with AD/HD
The Baird Center is proud to be affiliated with the Support Group for Parents of Children and Adolescents with AD/HD (local Shenandoah Valley CHADD chapter). This group meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month, 6:30 to 8pm at JMU's Blue Ridge Hall to provide education and support to families affected by ADHD. For more information, visit the following links:

Shenandoah Valley Child Development Clinic
For assessments of children (birth to 21 years old). They do not assess current JMU students. 540-568-6687
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)
Offers counseling as well as assessment services to the community and students. 540-568-1735
Interprofessional Services for Learning Assessment (ISLA)
ISLA provides assessment services to college students or those who plan to attend college but need as assessment to determine where they are academically or because they have a suspected learning disability and may be seeking accommodations once they enter college. 540-568-1735
